One-way bearings

• 1.One-way bearings are special bearings whose core function is to allow the shaft to rotate in only one direction. The opposite direction will be automatically locked without additional control. It is like installing a "one-way lock" on the machine. It is commonly used in equipment that needs to prevent reversal.
• 2.They primarily work by the "effect," and there are two common configurations: a roller-type mechanism, where a spring pushes a roller into a wedge-shaped groove during reverse rotation; and a wedge-type mechanism, where a wedge tilts and locks during reverse rotation. Both mechanisms "lock" the inner and outer rings during reverse rotation, preventing rotation.
• 3.When choosing, focus on three points: first, how much force it can bear (carrying capacity), which determines the power of the adapted equipment; second, whether there is resistance when rotating (idling resistance), and less resistance means more power saving; third, whether it is wear-resistant, usually made of hard materials to extend its service life.
